Montreal has a growing network of free wireless access points. The nonprofit Īle Sans Fil group offers free access but you must establish a membership before you can connect. Their site includes a map of access points.
As with any city, there are also many open WAP accesses all over – official, unofficial and otherwise.
We recommend phoning ahead to check opening hours and availability.
